課程概述 |
現代意義的公共衛生，緣起於工業革命衝擊之下的西方社會；公衛的發展，與疾病型態、醫療科技有關，但也與國家功能擴張、人權意識的啟蒙等政治社會因素息息相關。公衛政策透過國家公權力介入健康議題，不僅界定著政府的角色功能，也規範著個人行為與產業經營管理模式，因此時常帶來國家利益、公共利益、個人利益，與企業主利益之間的衝突。本課程旨在探索公衛發展歷史，並藉由國際與台灣的歷史案例分析，探討公衛政策所牽涉的社會議題。此課程歡迎跨領域學生前來選修。 |

學生在修習完此課程後，應可瞭解公衛學科的發展歷史，提升社會分析能力與人文關懷，並能思索反省自身所處的社會位置。 |
